What's New for 2023?

No big changes are offered for the new GMC Acadia. That said, there are three new color options: Volcanic Red tint coat, Ultra Blue metallic, and Sterling metallic. There's also a new wrapped steering wheel that's standard on all but the base SLE trim level.

Performance

The Acadia's base engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 228 horsepower. Though there is an optional 3.6-liter V-6 that outputs 310 horsepower for any Ottawa or Topeka, KS, resident seeking additional power. A nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive are standard with either engine and all-wheel drive is optional.

The base model with front-wheel drive is estimated by the EPA to get around 22 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. While the V-6 with front-wheel drive is estimated around of 19/27 mpg.

Technology

The new GMC Acadia is packed with tons of amenities. Kansas City drivers can find amenities such as a six-speaker sound system and five USB ports inside the base trim. And in higher trims, shoppers can find a navigation system, heated second-row seats, and a wireless charging pad.
